Covid cases are about to explode in US, ex-FDA commissioner warnsCoronavirus cases in the US are set to "explode" in the next few weeks, with the country likely to record its highest daily infection rates since the pandemic began, experts have warned. As Covid-19 cases surged past 125,000 daily cases, the former Food and Drug Administration commissioner Dr Scott Gottlieb said the real number of daily infections was closer to 500,000.
