Xi Jinping Could End up Being 'President for Life' in China

Communist Party's proposal would end the fixed two-term rule and allow him to stay on in power beyond 2023. President Xi Jinping looks certain to stay on in power beyond  2023. The final roadblock to him retaining his position as the leader of the world’s second-largest economy appears to have been removed by the ruling Communist Party of China.
